In recognition of the important fact that FOCUS Ministry does not work in isolation but operates in the context of what is happening in the Church, Christian organizations, Institutions of Higher learning and Government institutions, FOCUS works and seeks to continually build partnerships for mutual benefit and for the spread of God’s Kingdom Values. This is achieved through the following priority areas;
Key Priority Areas
1) Build Partnerships with identified institutions by
- Raising FOCUS awareness and looking for opportunities of engaging Partner Leaders
- Promoting and availing FOCUS Bible study materials to Partners
- Exploring areas of common interest with Partners and initiating joint ventures
2) Promote exchange of staff and programmes with IFES Movements by
- Exploring and utilizing opportunities for staff exchange
- Actively participating in IFES initiatives and programmes regionally and internationally
3) Build relationships with key identified organizations especially those working with students by
- Holding regular consultative fora
- Exploring joint ministry opportunities
4) Foster partnerships with funding organizations that share the ethos of FOCUS by
- Exploring and engaging in joint projects for mutual benefit
Areas in which we partner with other organizations;
- HIV/AIDS: Peer Education
- Short Term Experience in Ministry (STEM): Training leaders for the job market & Financial.
- Mission: Conferences, CU Annual Missions, Short Term Missions, Missionary engagements.
- Evangelism: In-reach or Varsity Evangelism engagements.
- Discipleship: Follow up of new believers as well as growth for all the Christians
- Bible Study production: Trainings on small groups, Ezra, Bible Study development and production
- Leadership Development: Training new leaders, overseeing smooth transitions and mentorship.
- Conferences: Exhibitions,
- Social involvement: Trainings, advocacy , and exposure through internships.
- Community Development: Placing staff in CD programmes/projects for ministry and mutual benefit
